Bleach 524: Kenpachi's Admiration For Unohana

Bleach 524 is out and we start off by witnessing lieutenant Isane and lieutenant Yachiru cry over the mementos their captains left before going down to the Muken to fight. The sad scene only emphasizes the point that one of them will most likely die but I'm REALLY hoping that it isn't so and it's just a dramatic scene to keep the reader interested. Unohana and Kenpachi finally toe to toe with Unohana easily overpowering Kenpachi without receiving a single strike from him. Kenpachi is finally backed into a corner with his sword thrown across the ground and Unohana's blade to his throat, Kenpachi recounts a little bit of their past together and his admiration for her as well as his fear of her the first time they fought. For a split second as Unohana has her blade to his throat, Kenpachi envisions her stabbing her sword right through his throat showing that even someone like Kenpachi is afraid of death. He manages to pull himself together and get back to fighting and the chapter ends with Unohana stating that Kenpachi's admiration for her was one of her greatest sins. Things are getting bloody and Kenpachi is barely capable of landing a hit on Unohana which goes to show just how powerful of a warrior she is. Though it was for a second, Kenpachi envisioned a little bit of the past he and Unohana shared and hopefully in the near future we'll see an actual flashback. Most people are fond of flashbacks and neither am I but this is one I'm actually hoping to see (as long as it doesn't drag on for too long). A true death match is in full swing here and the outcome is uncertain but I'm predicting along with many others, Kenpachi will probably receive his Shikai and this will give him the upper hand against Unohana but we won't know until we get there.
